My first time visiting IHOP since I moved to Florida. I ordered the banana cream waffle with hash browns. The food was okay but the place in general is not welcoming. Servers was sitting around laughing. I don't know if I'll visit again. Something to think about.........

So I'm updating my review. I still come here with my fiancé weekly for breakfast. The last few times we have been here, the service has been slacking significantly. When you first come in, the restaurant smells funky. We had one instance where my fiancé found a small black beard hair from the cook in her food. This visit, our plates were dirty. We were scraping off crap on our plates with our finger nails. The servers are nice and all, but the speed and accuracy has gone down hill. Those are my only concerns for now. We will come here less and just go somewhere else for the most part.

For middle of the night, post drinking munchies that aren't good for you, this place fits the bill. The one waitress, one cook combo was enough for the sparse near midnight weekend "crowd" the night I came here. I was seated a safe distance from the somewhat frightening other clientele, and I got what I came here for, IHOP pancakes. I'm not sure I would ever come here sober and in the middle of the day.

I believe that the CEO of IHOP ought to go on UNDERCOVER BOSS and select this location for his first visit. There is absolutely NOTHING that I found that I could recommend. The ceiling has many leaks in it and my wife and I were asked to select our own choice of seating, but were cautioned about two booths due to "condensation from the windows messing up the benches." The table needed cleaning, the waitress was curt and unkempt, the food was extremely greasy and the window that we sat next to was covered in mold. The floors had many water stains and the entire "restaurant" needs a complete overhaul and updating. The bill was extremely difficult to read because the printer on which it was printed appears to be nearly out of toner or ink. We have visited MANY IHOPs throughout the United States and find this one to be the ABSOLUTELY worst of all. We will not be back to this location.

Won't be returning here. Had to ask for clean coffee cups from waitress that wanted to deny what we were seeing was dried coffee on the side of the white cups. After a 30 minutes wait (another waitress blamed a 12 party order in front of us and our waitress blamed a new cook) the food arrived luke warm. My friend ordered the steak omelet and the first 4 pieces of the steak was so full of gristle that she just picked the rest of it out. Of course the unexpected 8 legged friend waiting for us in the syrup holder and his cobwebs were a bit of a surprise too. Needless to say we won't be back.

International House of Pancakes. They sell pancakes. They refer to themselves as "international" because they also serve crepes and blintzes. They recently expanded into the Middle East and Egypt, which I suppose makes them officially "International." They were founded in 1958 in Los Angeles, CA and have around 1500 locations. They now own Applebee's after a controversial and contentious buyout. That's all I got. Oh, their pancakes are pretty good.

Let me start off by saying something positive our waitress tryed her best. With that being said I don't understand how this place has not been investigated for an episode of dirty dining. My boyfriend will order from here late night if we are hungry and don't feel like cooking. Now had I actually sat down and ate inside sooner thoose to go orders would have never been ordered! I have always enjoyed eating at Ihop but this particular Ihop is disgusting. I am apart of there email club my birthday just passed so they sent my coupon for a free rooty tooty which was very nice of corporate. If corporate would see what this location is doing to there brand they would cringe. I think I still might contact them because this is a day later im writing this review and still disgusted. Our waitress was new so when I presented coupon she had to ask a different server how to use it. We ordered two meals besides the free pancakes. My coffee was served cold. NO I did not order ice coffee if you were wondering. After waiting almost 15minutes for our food I watched a young lady walk out of the bathroom with a look of disgust she was sitting across from our table I heard her grab her friend and say don't go in that bathroom whatever you do! Now when I go to a restaurant I shouldnt fear using there restroom I mean aren't there laws about this? Finally our food came I was starved dug right in to my eggs. I ordered that 2 by 2 with 2 eggs 2toast hashbrowns bacon and I thought it came with sausage also I asked my waitress where my sausage was thinking that it was included in my meal. She apologized claiming she forgot and would grab it. When my bill came I noticed I was charged for the sausage I asked her why she charged me she said it wasn't included. I FOUND THAT PRETTY TACKY being that I didnt even eat it I just asked for it thinking I had already paid for it she could had something when I asked where it was. She kept saying she was new and she was very kind but when you are hired for any job you would think they would train her. Now to my disgust I got finished with my eggs and went to pour some ketchup on my plate and there it was a curly little black hair looked pretty short... I knew it wasn't mine nor did it match this months hair color!!!! I told my server she treated me like I just wanted a free meal as if I made it up. The manager never even bothered to apologize or even come the table, honestly I believe it was his hair because him and another male were back there cooking but this other man was african american with a bandana on the manager had no hair net. It was disgusting! My boyfriend and I left and halfway home I threw up....Beware beware beware of this location unless you dont care about cleanliness and kindness with your meal.

Before I start, let's get the main points out: -bad service -terrible management -one of the best location, with terrible maintenance, design, care, understanding, view. Ok, let's begin by saying, this IHOP can be one of the best, if not the best in town. They need a new management team, leadership team, and principles of this should be a friendly place but not a chill around employee spot. I did appreciate the new employee willingness to give great customer service, but his knowledge or training or IHOP principles or order of business was unknown. No fault of his, but from management, to cook, seating around tables and pushing the new guy to serve customer, without sitting customer and letting customers walk in and seat. Worst was when I sat down next to a table of which a cook eating and a waitress sitting on her knees talking out loud, using offensive language while management across that table with yoga pants and also talking out loud with personal matters, have to call the new waiter to ask if he has sat me or token my order.... It sure to say that leadership here is needed... GREATLY!

The General manager called me after I contacted Customer Services and was very apologetic, understands that Sally is loud and can be obnoxious, acknowledged he left 2 hours prior to our arrival and no manager was on the property, was appalled I was groped (Sexual Harassment fits here), kept apologizing and ensured he would "severely" discipline Sally for all this and as a kind gesture: He offered to send us a voucher for my family for a return visit on the store location, was a nice gesture and it was to be sent out that day or the following. Sadly he didn't send it as promised. Let me say he talks a good game and his follow through is less than Sally's as it takes less than 7 days for a letter to make it across town. This General Manager talks a good game and in reality we suspect the main issue with this location is the General Manager as his staff is a direct reflection on his lack of management and follow through. Hopefully the Franchisee will read this and act appropriately to improve their business. Sad when someone makes a kind gesture only to blow hot air to try and cover up the wrong doings only to be one of the wrong do'ers. Shortly after alerting Customer Service of this second issue and alerting them to lack of flow up guess who called me? Now he wants to email me a voucher, uhm I don't think he needs my email to sell to spammers......

My husband and I went to this Ihop around midnight, since I was craving food after getting off from work. And unfortunately there aren't many options around where I live so we came to this place, even though the food at I hop is not the best food you can have at midnight. I do not know about lunch, dinner time but the late night's cook and waiter we had were very friendly and the food was so so good. The cook knows what he is doing. The waiter was a former marine and he was so attentive, quick and cheerful. They both looked so happy and were enjoying what they were doing. We had a wonderful night eating at this place. I will go back when I get late night munches!

We recently stopped here looking for a bite, Its your traditional high sloped roof IHOP, unfortunately the food was not. They were understaffed , seating was a little cramped and my biggest gripe of it all........ they had no Coffee readily available! Our server who was friendly said she would have to put up a pot. Hello, this is IHOP, they have coffee brewing day and night or at least that is what I am used from all the ones I frequented back in NY for the past 40+ yrs. When I come here , thats the fist thing I order, coffee and I think thats the case with most people. on top of her having to make a pot which seemed that would it have been faster for me to go back grind up a batch and make it myself, I was literally 1/2 way through my order , when I received it and the coffee was average at best, I could've gotten a better cup at 7-11 and that's not saying much either. Ok I will get off my coffee soapbox and focus on the delicious food items on the menu, NOT, I ordered a typical cheese omelette with a side of hash browns and short stack of buttermilk pancakes. My GF ordered scrambled eggs with grits and sourdough bread nothing out of the ordinary. . Ok back to my soapbox, This is IHOP this is what they specialize in or at least supposed to , Breakfast! My omelette was dry , cheese tasted old and stringy not gooey, best way to describe my hash browns is take 2 Mcdee's hash browns flat them out and serve it with extra grease , they were almost uneatable., there was oil left over. Unfortunately my 3 pancakes did not fare much better, They were dry , crumbly and it could have easily soaked up the entire Vermont maple syrup industry and still come out dry. I would've used a BP oil spill reference but I guess its still too soon,eh? This raving review does not unfortunately end here my fellow Yelpers. My gf's order was essentially a kids size portion, in fact a finicky child would be wanting more eggs than she received with this menu item, Come on, if your gonna charge $7+ for breakfast items , how bout include more than 1 egg with it. Our server was nice but not attentive , I only received 1 (small cup if I may add ) of " coffee" I can understand that they were understaffed , things do happen people call in and can get overwhelmed easily but this is IHOP , it wasn't at 11pm , it was around 8pm. Fortunately to IHOP's credit this is not the norm for them, and hopefully just an isolated store location issue. I have always left at most of them feeling full and satisfied with a decent breakfast for a decent price,. I have no desire even to give them a second chance, I left here and had to make a run to the border. If your craving IHOP in St Pete , my suggestion is to stay away from this location.

This IHOP is A-OK with me, I went on a Sunday morning (their busiest time) and I was promptly seated and then seen by a waitress. During my entire meal, my water glass was kept full and I really appreciate that. For breakfast I had a chocolate chip waffle and hash browns. The cook really skimped on the chocolate chips (obviously not the waitress's fault) but I wasn't charged extra for them so it really wasn't a big deal. The has browns were mediocre but with a little salt and ketchup any hash browns are edible. All in all, I had a pleasant breakfast with a friend and I got out of there for $11 bucks.

Did a late breakfast here this morning. Had not been to IHop in years, so wasn't sure what to expect besides pancakes. When I walked in, a friendly waitress appears and takes me to a window table and provides a menu. She asked what I wanted to drink, and if I needed a minute. I ordered coffee, which appeared about five minutes later. Another waitress appears, and I ordered their country omelet with hash browns. Only three other tables were occupied, yet it took about twenty minutes before this big loaded omelet arrived, plus a little side dish with hash browns. I realize that the three ladies at another table had ordered before me, so maybe that's typical. A jar full of hot coffee is left at your table, so you do your own reloading. The second waitress asks if everything was alright as she passes by, good service here. Tables along the window glass have wide seats for two people on either side of the table, then there are single-seater tables along the middle. Each table has a syrup holder with three different syrup jars, plus a stack of jelly cubes. This country omelet is filled with stringy cheese, onions, ham and hash browns, and will fill you for hours. Still, at $11.97 before tip, this is the highest I've ever paid for breakfast. Upscale pricing in an area that's definitely not.

The cooks at this IHOP want you to die. As friendly as the service may be here, it's hit or miss, the kitchen staff would rather send you to the emergency room than clean or throw out old food. The first time we went here, my fiancee became very ill and was throwing up by the time i was half way through the pancakes. Our server attempted to set things right by charging for both meals and offering her a free desert. No manager visited the table. Our most recent visit, we being believers in second chances, my number came up. Not long after returning home, my growing stomach cramps turned into a few rounds of vomiting. I would Give this IHOP 5 stars if Yelp were a site for depressed or terminally ill people looking for alternatives to the Skyway bridge to commit suicide.

Food was adequate, but the service was slow and not attentive at all. Our ordered "Endless" pancakes were apparently made from scratch while we waited, and wheat takes a while to grow.
